Busy Saturday

Saturday was a fun and busy day for our family!  On Saturday morning, we went on a trail hike in the park with some friends, trying out their backpack carrier.  Davis was very upset about being put into the carrier, but once he was up on Daddy's back he enjoyed the hike and looking around at everything!  We are vacationing in Tennessee next week, so this was good hiking practice.

On Saturday night, we went to Splash Island, the local water park.  Davis was pretty unsure about the whole water thing (as usual), but was okay with floating around the lazy river on Daddy's lap as long as no water squirted him in the face! We were having so much fun that we stayed out quite a bit past bedtime, but hey, it was a special treat!  And by the end of the day, it looks like Davis was having a good time - don't you think?
